Visa and Travel
Visa information.
Visa affair is the easiest part of the travel. Citizens of many countries do not need an entrance visa for
Georgia (citizens of EU countries, USA, Japan, Israel, Turkey, Canada, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova,
Ukraine, etc.). Citizens of some countries, including citizens of Russia, can obtain a visa while crossing
the border of Georgia at official checkpoints, including all airports of Georgia.
Travel information.
Batumi can be reached both from Tbilisi and from Istanbul by airplane (daily flights in summer), also
from some other airports in Europe (see the conference WEB). You can also use the new Kutaisi

about 350 km west from Tbilisi, about 6 hours by train, bus, or car and 150 km. from Kopitnari airport.
