The Conference will be held on September 4-8, 2017 (september 3 - arriving day), in Batumi, Black Sea resort of Georgia.

Within the framework of the conference the anniversary session dedicated to Professor Rezo Absava will be held.

Foreign participants pay the Conference fee (compulsory), Conference Dinner and excursions (optional) upon arrival, during the registration. There is no conference fee for accompanying persons, but they have to pay for Conference Dinner and excursion.

GMU Members (with or without  contribution) 75 GEL (30 USD)
Non-Members 100 GEL (40 USD)
Young researchers (under 30)   50 GEL (20 USD)
Master and PhD Students   35 GEL (15 USD)
All participants, including organizers and invited speakers, will pay conference fee.

Registration and abstract submission:
Visit, please, the registration page of the conference WEB-page www.gmu.ge/Batumi2017, register and submit the LaTeX-source and PDF files of abstracts before June 15, 2017. You will be notified about acceptance of your oral or poster presentation by July 1, 2017.
LaTex abstracts should be prepared according to the standard template file and should not exceed 1 page. We kindly ask you to follow the rules, indicated in the template file. The abstract template file is downloadable from the conference WEB. You can also register and send files to the following email address: batumi.conference@yahoo.com.

Accompanying persons
must be registered by the related participant. Services, e.g. the conference dinner or excursions, may be booked also through the related participant’s account. They have free access for the Opening Reception and the Public Lecture.

Payment:
Due to expensive bank transfers from abroad, foreign participants can make payment on arrival during the registration.

Conditions and Cancellation:
Any changes and cancellations must be done in written form and sent to the Conference Office at: gmu_conferences@gmu.ge or batumi.conference@yahoo.com.

Visa information: Visa affair is the easiest part of the travel. Citizens of many countries do not need an entrance visa for Georgia (citizens of EU countries, USA, Japan, Israel, Turkey, Iran, Canada, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, etc. More precise information can be retrieved from the WEB-site https://www.geoconsul.gov.ge/HtmlPage/Html/View?id=25&lang=Eng. Citizens of some countries, including citizens of India, Pakistan etc., should apply for a visa in Consulates of Georgia in their own or nearest countries. Travel information: Batumi can be reached both from Tbilisi (daily flights in summer), from Istanbul and some other cities of Europe. The Batumi airport is very close to the city. You can also use the Kutaisi (Kopitnari) international airport (150 km to Batumi with a comfortable bus). To and from Kutaisi are available Budget flights by Wizz Air from many cities in Europe. Batumi is about 350 km west from Tbilisi, about 6 hours by train or bus.

Accommodation:
Hotel prices in Batumi start from 60 USD room/night and in suburbs from USD 30. You can reserve a hotel, for example, through WEB http://www.booking.com/. You can also find a private apartment to rent on the WEB https://www.airbnb.com/. Organizers will negotiate with hotels management in Gonio (suburb of Batumi). Social events
Weather in September in Batumi is warm and humid.
A wide range of social programs including city tours and visits to historical places will be available. It is an immense pleasure to swim in the sea when the weather is hot.
